Description
The First Ten Years of Our Lady of Clear Creek Abbey: A story told in pictures
By Dom Francois de Feydeau (1953-2009), a monk of Clear Creek
Paperback, 153 pages, 8.5 X 11
This book contains 140 drawings and illustrations (11 in color) of life at Clear Creek Abbey. Father de Feydeau, was one of the founding members of Clear Creek, sent from his native France to establish monastic life in rural Oklahoma. He would often draw a picture for a fellow monk who was celebrating a feast day, or to send back to France to let his brothers there know how monastic life was taking shape in the American West. By these drawings he effectively kept a chronicle of the first ten years of Clear Creek Abbey.
