This hand missal for daily use contains the rites and texts for Holy Mass and other liturgical ceremonies as found in 1962. The re-use of the 1962 liturgical rites was universally permitted by Pope Benedict XVI in his Apostolic Letter Motu Proprio: Summorum Pontificum, issued on July 7, 2007 (The full text of this apostolic letter is reprinted in this hand missal). A foreword and Imprimatur are given by the Most Reverend Fabian W. Bruskewitz, STD, former Bishop of Lincoln, Nebraska (until 2012).
Included in this missal: All Masses of the Liturgical Year according to the 1962 Roman Calendar, in Latin with English translation (Biblical texts are according to the Douay-Rheims).
