English – Latin, 1480 pages, soft leather cover, black and red text, gilt edges, and six marker ribbons.
This is a re-publication of the 1963 edition of the Day Hours of the Monastic Breviary – Prime, Lauds, Terce, Sext, None, Vespers and Compline, with an updated table of movable feasts. Note: This book does not include Matins. This book is ideal for novices, monks and nuns when travelling, Benedictine oblates and guests at monasteries.
The English translation is unique, done by Benedictine monks in the early 20th century.
Now in its 8th edition, this popular liturgical book includes a slip cover and the image of the St. Benedict Medal embossed on the cover.

This Matins Psalter according to the Benedictine Ritual can be used as a supplement to Diurnal, for those who want to pray the divine Office according to the traditional Benedictine usage. Please note that this booklet contains the office of Matins only for ferial (i.e. non-feast) days, for each day of the week. It does not include the Lessons (readings) which are used during the winter season, but only the short readings used throughout the summer. Latin and English, side-by-side.
Building Something Beautiful For God –
To Last A Thousand Years
Our Lady of Clear Creek Abbey is a Benedictine community belonging to the Solesmes Congregation and, like other monasteries of the Solesmes Congregation, is to be counted among the institutes entirely ordered towards contemplation. It was founded in 1999 from the Abbey of Our Lady of Fontgombault in France and is located in the Diocese of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Clear Creek became an abbey in 2010 and counts 55 monks, who devote themselves to God alone in the hidden life, in silence and solitude, in constant prayer and willing penance.
After twenty years of existence, we are happy, by the grace of God, to have completed two large buildings and a sizable portion of our abbatial church. We started building the “Chapter House” to accommodate the growing number of monks and provide a Sacristy, Infirmary, classrooms and the Chapter itself. Please help us continue this arduous, but important work for the glory of God.
