This 100% Red Bourbon coffee from Rwanda is roasted in Fort Scott, Bourbon County Kansas, in honor of Lt. William Hawkins USMC. Hawkins was born in Fort Scott and served as a sniper platoon commander in the Battle of Tarawa in WWII. Hawkins was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroism at Tarawa.
